The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

  • Domestic violence and stalking — 16115 Neely Town Rd., DeKalb

Oct 22

  • Simple assault threat x2 — 1105 45th Ave., Meridian
  • Willful trespassing — homeless
  • Public drunk — homeless

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday through Wednesday.

Oct 21

  • Commercial burglary — 1300 block of Roebuck Drive at 9:50 a.m.

Oct 22

  • Robbery – 4600 block of 5th Street at 4:21 p.m.
  • Commercial burglary — 3400 block of Highway 45 North at 4:32 p.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Oct 21

  • Disturbance in public place, disorderly conduct: interfering with lawful order and resisting/obstructing arrest
  • Simple assault x2 and telephone harassment
  • Violation of seat belt law and driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license
  • Controlled substance-sell, transfer, distribute, possess with x4, felon in possession of firearm, violation of seat belt law, no/expired driver’s license and failure to maintain liability insurance

Oct 22

  • Failure to register under sex offender registration law
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Unlawful for officer to furnish offender weapon/contraband
  • Auto burglary
  • Failure to pay
