Mr. and Mrs. William Bailey Allen of Meridian announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Bailey Elizabeth, to William Craig Dungan, son of Dr. and Mrs. Vincent Craig Dungan of Meridian.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 18, 2016, at The Seaside Chapel in Seaside, Fla., with a reception to follow.

Miss Allen is the granddaughter of Mr. Ed Allen Sr. and the late Mrs. Joan Bailey Allen of Meridian and Mr. Robert E. Harris and the late Mrs. Doris A. Harris of Meridian.

The bride-elect is a 2011 honors graduate of Lamar High School. She attended the University of Mississippi and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

While attending the University of Mississippi, the bride-elect was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Miss Allen is employed by the University of Mississippi Medical Center as a registered nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Mr. Dungan is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willis W. Dungan of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Fajure L. Payne of Raymond and Mr. and Mrs. Hilton L. Boswell of Philadelphia.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2011 graduate of Lamar High School and a 2015 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of arts degree in biology and double minor in chemistry and psychology.

While attending the University of Mississippi, the bridegroom-elect was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.

Mr. Dungan will begin medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in August.
