Clayton, Clark make state list

A pair of Kemper County High School football players were recognized by The Clarion-Ledger as part of the publication’s Athletes of the Week, Top Performers.

Wide receiver D.J. Clayton was named one of the the state boys players of the week after a 10-catch, 364-yard performance last week against Quitman High School. Five of those receptions were for touchdowns.
The Wildcats’ Eric Clark was named a top performer for The Clarion-Ledger as well, going 14-for-18 in passing for 341 yards and five touchdowns in last week’s game.
