Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.
Sept 27
- Capital murder x2
- Possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance violations
- Taking away of a motor vehicle
- DUI third offense or greater and failure to answer a citation, pay fines, penalties
- Failure to pay
- Contempt of court for failure to pay fine
- Contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service
Sept 28
- Felon in possession of firearm and contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service
- Aggravated domestic violence
- Contempt of court for failure to pay fine
- Malicious mischief-misdemeanor
- Petit larceny
- Fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle, no turn signal, no/expired driver’s license and reckless driving
Sept 29
- No tag/expired tag/improper tag, driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license and no child restraint.
- Simple assault and disorderly conduct:hindering police
- DUI second offense, endangering a child by DUI first offense, careless driving, violation of seat belt law, failure to maintain liability insurance and driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license.
