Week 4 football scores

Meridian and Lauderdale County teams took to the field Friday for week four of the Mississippi High School Activities Association’s 2024 football season.

Here is a look at how each team fared:

– The Meridan Wildcats were unable to come away with the win as they fell 15-28 on the road against the Starkville Yellowjackets. The team will next travel to Laurel to take on the Golden Tornadoes.

– West Lauderdale also fell on the road in a 21-35 loss to Neshoba Central. The Knights will next host Germantown Friday in the Kingdom.

– The Clarkdale Bulldogs couldn’t gain traction in an away game against Forest, ending the game with a 0-49 loss. The team is next set to host Enterprise in a longstanding rivalry between the two teams.

– The in-county rivalry game between Northeast and Southeast Lauderdale high schools ended with the Northeast Trojans taking home the win with a final score of 37-7. Northeast is set to host Forest next week, while Southeast will host Sebastopol.
