EMEPA truck has minor crash on Highway 19

A truck from the East Mississippi Electric Power Association had a minor accident while driving around a curve on Highway 19 Wednesday morning. 

While navigating a sharp turn south of Philadelphia, the wheels of the truck left the road and the employee over-corrected the vehicle, flipping it, according to EMEPA spokeswoman Julie Boles, 

Boles said the employee was being evaluated as a precaution but didn’t appear to have any injuries.

“We are thankful for his safety and that no other vehicles were impacted,” Boles said.
