Junior L. Taylor
GILBERTOWN, Ala. — Services for Junior L. Taylor will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barlow United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Taylor, 77, of Barlow, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Pensacola, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine Taylor; a son, Michael Taylor; one brother, James R. Taylor and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mildred E. Butler

PHILADELPHIA — Graveside services for Mildred E. Butler will be held today at 1 p.m. at Curtis Chapel Cemetery in Starkville with the Rev. David Richardson officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Butler, 79, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Starkville and after her marriage, she and her husband lived for 45 years in Vicksburg. She worked and retired from Sears and then returned to her family home in Starkville. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville and Bomar Avenue Baptist Church in Vicksburg.
Survivors include her daughter, Pat Johnson and her husband, Mac, of Philadelphia; a son, Joe Butler of Maben; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Weeks and her husband, Jason, of Brandon; a brother, James E. Speed and his wife, Louella, of Starkville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, in 2002.

MACON — Services for Hazel Phillips Collins will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Byron Pickering officiating. Burial will be in Shuqualak Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins, 92, of Macon, formerly of Shuqualak, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Elderly Care Center in Macon.
Survivors include her children, Edna Jackson and Mary Steffan; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, a sister and a brother.
Betty Ruth Tyson

BUTLER, Ala. — Services for Betty Ruth Tyson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Assembly of God with the Rev. Billy Jowers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tyson, 50, of Butler, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Miss.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Faust and Donna Freeman; two brothers; five sisters and five grandchildren.
Edgar Joshua Fryery

LOUISVILLE — Services for Edgar Joshua “E.J.” Fryery will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Nowell Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Bowie and Don Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Fryery, 91, of Louisville, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. He was born May 27, 1915, in Neshoba County, the son of the late William Rodney “Bud” and Ola Beall Fryery. He married Willene Young on March 30, 1940. He retired from the railroad after 38 years as a fireman and locomotive engineer. Upon his retirement, he was commended for not missing a call during his entire career. He loved his railroad friends and considered them to be a part of his family. He was an avid sportsman and loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Dancing Rabbit Hunting Club for many years and successfully passed this love of the outdoors to each of his children and grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife of more than 66 years, Willene Young Fryery; sons, Bill Fryery and is wife, Naomi, of Louisville and Bobby Fryery and his wife, Deborah, of Meridian; a daughter, Darlene Bane and her husband, Ricky, of Louisville; grandchildren, Coker Fryery and his wife, Debbie, of Louisville, Watson Fryery and his wife, Shannon, of Saltillo, Kristen Hill and her husband, Jeremy, of Meridian, E.J. Bane and Patrick Bane, both of Louisville; great-grandchildren, Hayden Fryery of Louisville Joshua Fryery and Carley Fryery, both of Saltillo; nieces, Brenda Huber and Maureen Brown of Bartlett, Tenn. and several nephews.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Pallbearers will be his five grandsons, nephews, Johnny Young, Mike Parker and Wayne Green.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Algene Hall
Services for Algene Hall will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Eighth Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Blackwater Cemetery in Daleville. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hall, 73, died Monday, March 12, 2007, in McKinney, Texas.
Survivors include his sons, Algene Hall Jr., Dwayne Hall and Terrance Hall; daughters, Shirley Anderson, Carolyn Sherrod, Wanda Hall and Tonji Zacharie; three brothers; five sisters; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
