Ellen Rose Heimann and Benjamin Thomas Nichols were married on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian with Revs. Elvin Sunds and Francis Cosgrove officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frederick E. Heimann Jr. of Meridian and Grady L. Nichols of Oceanside, Calif., and Hilda Nichols of Aberdeen.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Davis of DeKalb and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick E. Heimann of Louisville, Ky.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Grady Nichols and Juanita Nichols of Aberdeen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Eaves of Louisville.

Music for the ceremony was provided by the UpBeat Meridian orchestra under the direction of Lora Tucker.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with allover beaded and corded lace adorned with pearls that extended into a chapel-length train. For her headpiece, she wore an elbow-length veil featuring Swarovski crystals and Sutache edging worn with a crystal and pearl tiara.

The bride’s accessories included Swarovski crystal and pearl drop earrings. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, mini calla lilies, sweet peas and a silk flower from her mother’s wedding bouquet. The bouquet also included an item of jewelry of her late paternal grandmother and an heirloom handkerchief of her late maternal great-grandmother. She also wore a blue lace garter made by her 90-year-old maternal great-grandmother.

Cheryl Ann Haus of Manheim, Pa., served as matron of honor. Sally Lauren Stacey of Biloxi served as bridesmaid.

Brittany Carol Davis of DeKalb was flower girl.

Best man was Zachary Whitten of Melbourne, Fla. Michael Jarrell of Memphis, Tenn., served as groomsman. Ushers were Christopher Heimann of Memphis, Grady L. Nichols III and Andrew Nichols, both of Oceanside, and Luke Nichols of Tremonton, Utah.

Sean Ethan Nichols of Oceanside served as ring bearer.

A reception was held at the church’s Family Life Center following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C., the couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.
