Police, DEA partner for drug take back

The Meridian Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration will partner from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 to accept unwanted or expired perscription drugs from the public.

The agencies will accept these drugs at the Bonita Lakes Mall Meridian Police Precinct, near the entrance to the food court. 

Only pills or medicated patches will be accepted for this free and anonymous event. 

Total Pain Care, a sponsor for the event, has provided goody bags for individuals who participate in the event.
