Board members are hoping to have the field of candidates narrowed down and a superintendent in place by early June. The position pays $120,439 annually.

Board members are using a detailed report and materials from the MSBA to determine the next course of action.
Interviews will be conducted May 14-18 with 13 vying for the position; ten men and three women, six with doctorate degrees.
