Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center launched Baptist OneCare MyChart, an electronic health record system powered by Epic, Thursday to help patients access and manage their health information from anywhere.
Baptist OneCare MyChart gives patients secure online access to their personal medical records and medication history and allows them to request prescription refills, schedule doctor’s appointments and pay medical bills. Patients can also communicate with their medical team and conduct virtual visits and e-visits through the app.
“Baptist OneCare MyChart is about convenience, safety and continuity of care for patients,” said John G. Anderson, administrator and CEO of Baptist Anderson. “By joining the Baptist OneCare MyChart network, our patients will have access to a secure, convenient way to view and manage their health information and coordinate their care with their physicians from anywhere in the world. We are excited to provide a seamless method for patients to receive and continue their care in any situation.”
The MyChart application also includes access to Computrition’s advanced food service automation and OBIX Perinatal data system, a perinatal system for obstetrics.
The Baptist OneCare MyChart app is free and available to download on smartphones, tablets and computers. Patients who receive care at Baptist Anderson hospitals, Baptist Medical Group-Meridian Medical Associates and Baptist Medical Group-Internal Medicine Clinic, as well as other Baptist Medical Group clinics in the area can download the app to access their health information.
