Wednesday, Feb. 12

• 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will assist taxpayers with their 2019 tax returns at EMEPA, 2128 Hwy 39 N. Please bring a copy of your previous year (2018) tax return, 2019 tax information, picture ID, and Social Security Cards for all family members. • 4:30 p.m. – K-5th Grade Crafts: Valentine Glitter Craft at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.

• 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Go Red for Women, an event about women and heart disease, hosted by Anderson Regional Medical Center at the MSU Riley Center. Tickets are $25 and you’ll take home a free gift. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. Call 601-321-1209 to register.

• 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Junior Auxiliary of Meridian’s provisional class will have a Celebration Kick-Off Drive for Kits for Kids, a personal hygiene product drive, at Walmart on Hwy. 19 North with several community leaders and school district representatives scheduled to attend. Collection booths will be located at each entrance of Walmart.

• 6 p.m. – Valentine Blues at The MAX with Ra’Shad “The Blues Kid,” a Blues Musician and Artist from Laurel, Mississippi. Purchase tickets online or at the door. $20 non-members – free for members.

Saturday, Feb. 15
