Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday:
• Shoplifting -Jarrod Boykin, born in 1982, homeless.
• Domestic violence – Rashad E. Ruffin, born in 1992, 1116 6th St., Meridian.
• Trespassing – Cortney Yarbrough, born in 1991, 2 Robin Lane, Meridian.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:
Stolen vehicles
• 4200 block of South St. at 12:53 p.m.
Auto burglary
• 3500 block of 33rd St. at 8:14 a.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was no evidence found to support the calls.
