Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:

• Receiving stolen property, Georgiy Field, 24, homeless.

• Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Kenneth Arday Gardner V, 25, 1148 Rosewood St, Jackson.

• Possession of paraphernalia – Kimberly McGowin, born in 1981, 814 Bonita Dr. McGowin is also charged with child neglect.

• Simple assault/domestic – Tramaine Thompson, born in 1983, 2213 23rd Ave.

• Shoplifting – Michelle Rowland, born in 1976, 1421 26th Ave. Rowland is also charged with public drunk, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public profanity.

• Driving under the influence – Charles White, born in 1953, 4709 22nd Ave. White is also charged with careless driving.

• Possession of paraphernalia – Cleo Townsend, born in 1975, 6118 D St.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday to Wednesday:

Stolen vehicles

• 600 block of Highway 39 North, 7:34 a.m.

Residential burglary

• 2500 block of 29th Ave, 11:01 a.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• Child abuse – Kimberly Rochelle Carter, 33, 5180 Causeyville Rd, Meridian.

• Burglary-dwelling house – Jessica Lauren Gager, 28, 711 Lison Bee Rd, Chunky.

• Uttering forgery – Gary Warren Goss, 34, 743 Chesney Town Rd, Little Rock, Miss.

• Contempt of court – Sheree Hudson, 34, 5666 Charlie Dunn Rd, Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – Larezus Farche, 36, 378 County Rd 418, Quitman.
