Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Sale of controlled substance – Sherry Lynn Creekmore, 43, 1008 65th Ave., Meridian.
• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Jesse Livingston Hearne, 33, 17574 Chunky Duffee Road, Little Rock. Hearne is also charged with careless driving, driving with a suspended license and no liability insurance.
• Begging – Michael Sylvester Jones Sr., 53, 3111 Fifth St., Meridian.
• Malicious mischief/vandalism – Charles D. Moore, 18, 200 23rd St., Meridian. Moore is also charged with simple assault.
• Petit larceny – Cleo B. Townsend, 42, 6118 D St., Meridian. Townsend is also charged with public drunkenness and possession of paraphernalia.
• DUI – Kevin Naylor, born in 1973. Naylor is also charged with speeding.
• Trespassing – Angelica Hill, born in 1985, 7100 Old Highway 80 West, Meridian.
• Disorderly conduct – Roderick Naylor, born in 1976, 2009 Campbellton Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault, two counts – Jakari Houston, born in 1994, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault – Jasmine Houston, born in 1998, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault, two counts – Ambria Parker, born in 1998, 2305 19th St., Meridian.
• Willful trespassing – Juarez McClinton, born in 1998, 203 23rd Ave., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Josh Tidwell, born in 1994, 8580 Village Road, Meridian.
• Contributing to the delinquency of a minor – Jafirris Brown, born in 1998, 4212 37th St., Meridian.
• DUI, second offense – Robert Sillimon, born in 1966, 2626 18th St., Meridian. Sillimon is also charged with no liability insurance and driving without headlights.
• DUI, second offense – Joseph Carlisle, born in 1989, 2315 County Road 450, Meridian. Carlisle is also charged with no liability insurance and careless driving.

Auto Burglaries
• 1800 block of 35th Avenue, Meridian.

Residential Burglary
• 1100 block of 34th Street, Meridian.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 11 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Malicious mischief/vandalism – Lee Tommie Amerson, 36, 8095 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Toomsuba. Amerson is also charged with domestic violence, petit larceny and telephone harassment.
• Simple assault – Airien J. Clay, 24, 3610 34th St., Meridian.
• Simple assault – Javon Clay, 2, 3610 34th St., Meridian.
• Felony DUI, fourth offense – Jeffrey Paul Creech, 49, 2946 Russell Camp Road, Meridian.
• Possession of cocaine – Attarian Jaquan Curtis, 28, 302 59th Ave., Meridian.
• Failure to pay child support – Joseph Randolph Gilbert, 34, 2323 34th St., Meridian.
• Probation violation/parole – Brenda Ann Golden, 50, 8860 Chapel Road, Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – Reymundo Lee Nelson, 42, 146 West Ave., Livingston, Ala.
• Trespassing – James C. Redmond, 51, 617 Garner Ave., Stonewall. Redmond is also charged with no hunter orange.
• Simple assault causing bodily injury – Cody Allan Spears, 29, 3284 Cedar Lane, Toomsuba. Spears is also charged with probation violation/parole.
• DUI, first offense – Tawanna Telisa Stringfellow, 30, 1050 Gun Club Road, Atlanta, Ga. Stringfellow is also charged with possession of marijuana, expired tag and improper equipment.
