“I’m excited to be in Meridian and back at a daily newspaper,” Farrow said. “I look forward to working with our customers. There is no better feeling than when you help someone with an ad campaign and then return to the business and see the campaign was successful.”
“We are pleased to have Mandy join our team,” said Alexander Gould, publisher of The Meridian Star. “Her experience and energy will allow us to meet and exceed our business partners’ expectations.”
Prior to joining the Carthaginian, Farrow worked at The Neshoba Democrat in Philadelphia as its ad director. Before that, Farrow worked for American Consolidated Media – a cluster of five newspapers – in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was advertising director from 2006-2009 at the Palestine Herald in Palestine, Texas. She began her newspaper sales career in 2000 with the Tyler (Texas) Morning Telegraph, a daily newspaper.
Farrow is married to Frankie Farrow, who is store manager at Fred’s Pharmacy in Philadelphia where they reside. The couple has five children ranging in age from 24 to 3, along with one grandchild. Their children are Memory, Wesley, Christian, Hunter and Hayden. Ember is the couple’s grandchild.
The Farrows are huge football fans of Mississippi State and the Dallas Cowboys.
