UNION – Services for John Keith Henry will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Milling Funeral Home with burial at Union City Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Fortenberry and Dr. Jon Martin will officiate.
Mr. Henry, 76, of Union, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at his residence.
He was born June 29, 1938 and married on June 29, 1963. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a strong faith in God and welcomed every opportunity to witness for his Lord. He was a successful criminal defense attorney and business owner. He was an active member of New Ireland Baptist Church where he served as an active deacon and Bible study leader. He previously served as church service song leader and enjoyed singing special music with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty Henry of Union; two sons, John Henry and wife, Lee Ann of Union and Sterritt Henry and wife, Angie of Union; seven grandchildren:
Joseph Graham, Michael Graham, Meagan Graham, Kole Henry, Jes Henry, Nic Henry, Case Henry; son-in-law, Joey Graham and wife, Lula of Union; mother-in-law, Lucille Thomas of Union and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sammie Henry; one daughter, Carol Graham and one sister, Kay Henry Patterson and husband, Bill.
Pallbearers will be Joe Freeman, Kenny Joe Bankston, Earl Campbell, James Earl Cockerham, Rex Germany, George Hayes, Willie Charles Wilson and Dorsett Buckley. Honorary Pallbearers are Dale Germany, Valley Holder, Otha Kennedy, Ricky Sistrunk, Dr. John Voss and Tim Warren

Visitation will be held today, from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
