Charles Lindburg Harper

QUITMAN – Graveside services for Charles Lindburg Harper will be Sunday, at 2 p.m., at Mont Rose Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Harper, 80, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Navy. He did service station work and was a pipeline welder helper for 23 years.

    Survivors include his wife, Nellie Raye Harper; sons: Sam Harper, Larry Harper and Steve Harper; daughter, Diane Carter; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Bernadean Martin.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Anderson’s Cancer Center or your favorite charity.
