    Following an elegant afternoon celebration of their union under the traditional Sofreh during the Persian Aghd ceremony officiated by family friend, Abdul Malek, at The Hutton Hotel, Kimmia Hayati and Brent Doolittle were married in an evening traditional Western ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Scarritt-Bennett Wightman Chapel, Nashville, Tenn., by Rusty Galloway, officiant.

    The bride is the daughter of Mimi and Moh Hayati of Hendersonville, Tenn. Parents of the bridegroom are Deb and Bob Bresnahan and Melanie and Jimmy Doolittle of Meridian.

    Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family, the bride wore a Priscilla of Boston by Kenneth Pool satin gown from The Bride Room in Nashville.

    The bride carried a bouquet of white orchids, calla lilies and hydrangeas wrapped in French silk ribbon.

    Attendants of the bride wearing dresses by Amsale were Tricia Morris, Maid of Honor, Afsoon Hagh, Mana Shahgoli, Joey Davis, Caroline Rutledge, Leslie Fly and Brittany Crockett, all of middle Tennessee.

    Attendants to the bridegroom were Todd Doolittle, best man, of Meridian, Nima Hayati and Blake Waring, of Knoxville, Tenn., Stephen Doolittle of Stafford, Va., Paul Bresnahan of Jackson, and Andy Hite of Vicksburg.

    Flower girl was Ariana Blourchian of Nashville.

    Ring bearer was Kayvon Arab of Nashville.

    Hostesses were Kim Doolittle of Meridian and Maggie Plaster of Las Vegas, Nev.

    Ushers were Kris Brown and Jason Turan of Nashville and Joe Doolittle of Oxford.

    Following the ceremony, wedding guests were entertained with a dinner reception, including music by the outstanding band 24/7, at The Hutton Hotel, Nashville.

    After a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will be at home in Nashville with their two dogs, Eli and Khloe June.
