Natalie Marie Myatt of Meridian and Lt. Thomas Paul Gower of Meridian were married on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. James M. Harrison officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. Ray Edward Myatt and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Perry Gower, all of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. John Walton Myatt of Purvis and the late Mr. Myatt and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Sterling, of Purvis.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Perry Gower Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dave Newton Thomas, all of Meridian.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, organist/pianist; Charles Gates, trumpeter, Susie Johnson, Flautist; Stephanie Garrett-Maisel, cellist; Ty Maisel, violinist and Laura Winkelman, vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory strapless Alencon lace gown that featured a sweetheart neckline with a touch of organza. The fitted lace bodice fell into an A-line skirt that swept into a Chapel-length train. She wore a chapel-length veil and she wore a pair of antique diamond earrings belonging to her mother.

Alyssa Anne Johansen, of Arlington, Va., was maid of honor.

Other attendants were Jenny Christina Babcock of Charlotte, N.C., Amanda Josephine Bruss, of Cleveland, Paige Olivia Gower and Melissa Blair Love, both of Meridian, Carrie Elizabeth McDonnell, of Jackson, Heather Renae Shirley of Blacksburg, Va. and Lindsey Rashelle Wright of Jacksonville, Fla.

The bridegroom’s father was best man.

Groomsmen and ushers were Zachary Karl-Heinz Dahman of Fort Worth, Texas, James Edward Followay III of Meridian, Gregory Michael Gebhardt, of Fort Bragg, N.C., Kennedy Kent Ladner of Mandeville, La., Matthew Dale Michew and Christopher James Moffett, both of Meridian, Nathan Edward Myatt of Blacksburg, Va., David Carroll Norwood of Hendersonville, N.C. and Patrick Kerlin Phillippi, of Arlington, Va.

A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.

On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at Weidemann’s.

After a honeymoon in Saint Lucia, the couple resides in Arlington, Va.
