Avery Dennison commemorates 30th anniversary

The Avery Dennison Office Products facility in Meridian is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its local facility with the planting of 30 October Glory Maple trees, which symbolize its continued support of the site and its commitment to the community.
“We’re really proud to be a long standing contributor to this community,” said Patrick Kieffaber, plant manager for Avery Dennison. “Like many companies, we are challenged to maintain our competitive edge in the global economy. Though we have had to make some tough decisions along the way, the great people employed by Avery Dennison in Meridian have responded, ensuring a continued competitive focus. I’m very optimistic of the future ahead.”

The Avery Dennison plant in Meridian began in 1976 as National Blank Book Company; later becoming Dennison Stationary. In 1990, Dennison Stationary merged with Avery. Today, the site is a strategic distribution center and manufactures a variety of office products for the home, office and school.
