The heat was on at Meridian Community College’s Student Activities Chili Cookoff, where the Bizgals claimed first-place honors with their crowd-pleasing recipe.

 

Team members Veronica Fox, Crystal Webster and Mya Wade impressed the judges with their entry.

 

Coming in second was the Chili Chicks team, which included Susan Swink, Chandler Hamrick, Tiereni White and Mandy Hurtt. Rounding out the top three was Aladdin Campus Dining, whose team earned praise for their take on the classic cold-weather dish.

 

The cookoff, hosted by MCC Student Activities, brought together students, faculty and staff for a fun-filled event celebrating culinary creativity and community spirit. The next Chili Cookoff is planned for Fall Semester 2025.
