Matred Inez Moore

    Services for Matred Inez Moore will be held Friday, at 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Ashville with Dr. James Sampley officiating. Usrey Funeral Home of Pell City is in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Moore, 76, of Ashville, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in Ashville. Matred was employed by Greater Mississippi Insurance Company for over 18 years and was also employed at Vocational Rehab in Meridian, Miss. She was also the Food Service Director at Carterville Baptist Church in Petal, Miss., and at First Baptist Church in Ashville.

    Survivors include her husband, Murl Rudolph Moore; daughters: Pam Moore (Terry) Schickel of Meridian, Miss., and Paula Moore (Glenn) Brown of Ashville; son, Phillip Rudolph Moore of Richton, Miss.; sisters: Wilma Cameron of Cartersville, Ga., and Mable Moore of Meridian, Miss.; grandchildren: Lilah Parker, Terry L. Schickel, Eric Brown, Emily Goodman, Hanna Moore, and Katelyn Moore; great-grandchildren: Cade Hudson, Mallie Hudson, Mabry Parker, Dillon Schickel, Clay Schickel, Tyler Schickel, and Evan Schickel.

    In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Ashville Building Fund.

    Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
