Roland Ponds Gough

Services for Roland Ponds Gough will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church, with the Dr. Carl White and the Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gough, 82, of Meridian, died September 12, 2012, at Rush Hospital. He was a Merit Life deacon of Highland Baptist Church and was retired from AT & T.
Survivors include: his daughter Vickie Snowden and husband Mike of Birmingham, Alabama; two sons Barry R. Gough and wife Renee’ of Collinsville, Mississippi; and Donald E. Gough and wife Linda of Gloucester Point, Virginia; two brothers: Connell Gough and wife Helen of Meridian; and Leland Gough and wife Annie of Senatobia, Mississippi; a sister Eloise Ellis of Jackson, Mississippi; brother-in-law Grover McDonald of Clinton, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law: Sally Gough and Bonnie Gough, both of Meridian; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Erma Jean Gough; sister Annelle McDonald; and brothers James Gough and Harold Gough.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home and thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at Highland Baptist Church.
