Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday:

• Contempt of Court – Jasper Alexander, Jr., 24, 1723 16th St.

• Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Ward Myles, Jr., 43, 1411 49th Ave.

• Public Drunk – Tahira L. Baseemah, 25, Rt. 1 Box 294 B

• Disorderly Conduct – Raymond R. Eason, 28, 602 Deer Run. Eason was also charged with Noise Ordinance Violation.

• DUI 2nd – Will B. Scott, II, 24, 401 41st Ave.

• Disorderly Conduct – Kelvin D. Taylor, 39, 1008 Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Drive.

• Public Drunk – Sydonna Stuart, 47, 4294 Old Hwy 19 S. Stuart was also charged with Possession of Paraphenalia.

• Stalking – Larry E. Landrum, 51, 5800 Kewanee Church Rd.

• Simple Assault (2 counts) – Lakeisha A. Eakins, 29, Oak Manor Apartments.

• Simple Assault – Jessie Brown, 43, 2200 44th Ave.





Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday:

• DUI, 1st – Clicero Turner, 44, 4398 B Orleans St. Turner was also charged with 5 counts of Contempt of Court.

• DUI, 1st, minor – Courtney D. Blaylock, 19, 381 SCR 35 13. Blaylock was also charged with Disregard for a Traffic Device, Seatbelt Violation, No Insurance, and Suspended Driver’s License.

• Possession of Marijuana – Robert T. McMullen, 19, 2031 Bunknarell Rd. McMullen was also charged with DUI Refusal and Disregard for a Traffic Device.

• Possession of Paraphenalia – Robert T. Whitehead, 22, 2885 Bolen Longcreek Rd.

• DUI, 2nd – Endy Alter, 51, 9395 Hwy 45 N. Alter was also charged with Suspended Driver’s License and Careless Driving.

• DUI, 1st – Joseph H. Naquin, 56, 454 Martin Rd. Naquin was also charged with Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle.

• DUI, 1st – Michael Brandon Stokes, 21, Rt 1 Box 130. Stokes was also charged with Public Profanity, Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights, Seatbelt Violation, No Insurance, and Careless Driving.

• DUI, 1st – Danny Brown, 58, 4810 30th St.

• Probation Violation – Terrance Woods, 37, 1220 S. 40.
