Meridian Life: Northwood chef Henry Countiss

In the August edition, now available, Meridian Life magazine features chef Henry Countiss, who is spicing up the dining scene at Northwood Country Club, in “From the Gridiron to the Grill.” Also in this issue’s cover story, “A Change of Pace,” Meridian Life talks with Linda Candelo, an Emmy-winning TV journalist who has traded big city living for a slower pace of life in the Queen City. Other features this edition include the Meridian Corvette Club and its members’ love for America’s first sports car; a new Walter Anderson exhibit planned at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience; Jan Cade, who makes unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry from vintage pieces; teenager Joy Kitchens and her pillowcase project that is bringing smiles to the faces of pediatric patients at Children’s of Mississippi; and a day trip to Cleveland, Mississippi, in Along for the Ride. The August edition of Meridian Life, produced by The Meridian Star, is free and available at many area retail and business locations, as well as the newspaper office in downtown Meridian while supplies last. Additionally, a link to the digital version of Meridian Life can be found at meridianstar.com.
