Meridian Life: An American Classic

The iconic Chevrolet Corvette is not only an American classic but also the top sports car for members of the Meridian Corvette Association, which Meridian Life magazine spotlights in its August edition. Members of the club are trying to rebuild membership following the Covid years and sat down for a chat about why they love their Corvettes. Also in the August edition, Meridian Life features Linda Candelo, an Emmy-winning TV journalist who has traded big city living for a slower pace of life in the Queen City, chef Henry Countiss, who is spicing up the dining scene at Northwood Country Club, Jan Cade, who makes unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry from vintage pieces; teenager Joy Kitchens and her pillowcase project that is bringing smiles to the faces of pediatric patients at Children’s of Mississippi; a new Walter Anderson exhibit planned at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience; and a day trip to Cleveland, Mississippi, in Along for the Ride. The August edition of Meridian Life, produced by The Meridian Star, is free and available at many area retail and business locations, as well as the newspaper office in downtown Meridian while supplies last.
