Sunday, Aug. 4
1-3 p.m. — Trinity Presbyterian Church in Meridian will have an open house for the Trinity Dyslexia Clinic at the church, which is located at 4223 Poplar Springs Drive. The public is invited.
11 a.m. — Oak Grove M.B. Church in Montrose, Miss., would like to invite everyone to our Annual Homecoming Services to be held Sunday August 4, 2013 following our 11 a.m. worship service. Our guest minister will be Rev. Norman Thompson, member of Mt Pleasant M.B. Church in Collinsville, MS. Your are also invited to our Annual Revival to begin the following Monday thru Friday, August 5-9, 2013 at 7:30p.m. nightly. Our guest minister for the week will be Rev. David Irby, Pastor of Herbert Bethel M. B. Church in Lauderdale, MS.
Aug. 12-16
7:30 p.m. — The public is invited to attend a Fall Revival during the week of Aug. 12 through Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The revival will take place at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 4126 York Road in Lauderdale, Miss. The guest speaker is Pastor James Granger of Union Baptist Church in Scooba and Mt. Herman Baptist Church in York, Ala. A homecoming will take place Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. with Minister Robert Alford of St. Paul Baptist Church in Russell serving as the guest speaker.
Wednesday, Aug. 14
5 p.m. — Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church will host a community-wide fall kickoff, with hamburgers and hotdogs at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. That will be followed by a brief meeting at 6 p.m. in the gym with parents and children, with plenty of fun and games for the whole family afterwards.
Saturday, Aug. 17
7:30 p.m. — Accomplished pianist and soloist, Andrew Ishee, of Laurel, and soloist Toni Mozingo of Hattiesburg, will be in a Gospel Concert at Stuart Memorial Auditorium, 939 Old Salt Road in Sumrall, Sat. Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. No admission will be charged but a free-will offering will be accepted.Everyone Welcomed. For further information call 601-758-4873.
