Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday:

• Burglary – James Gordon, born in 1997, 3018 Davis St.

• Felony fleeing pursuit – Ronald Brown, born in 1957, 7100 Old Hwy. 80.

• Aggravated domestic violence – Kira Prather, born in 1995, 2702 27th St.

• Speeding – Parrish Cortez Anderson, 49, 228 Wilson St., Philadelphia.

• Driving under the influence/second offense – Charles Cherry, born in 1972, 207 46th Ave. Cherry is also charged with no insurance, no driver’s license, seatbelt violation, failure signal turn/three counts, disregard traffic device, improper equipment, careless driving.

• Public drunk – Mary Miller, born in 1980, 3308 54th Place.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:

Commercial burglary

• 700 block of Highway 19 North at 10:04 a.m.

Residential burglary

• 4100 block of 19th St. at 12:17 p.m.

• 4200 block of Country Club Drive at 5:44 p.m.

• 2000 block of Mosby Road at 7:35 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday.

• No driver’s license – Robert Lee Holland, 50, 8222 Kings Rd., Meridian.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Celeste Loper Miles, 26, 10976 Woods Rd., Meridian. Miles is also charged with wrong way on a one-way street.

• No driver’s license – Christine Naylor, 58, 8679 Johnny Bailey Rd., Bailey.

• No driver’s license – Chevonna Tiresha Smith, 31, 2702 10th St., Meridian. Smith is also charged with no liability insurance, seat belt violation.

• Possession of controlled substance – Terrence Jamaal Trussell, 22, 8306 Okatibee Dam Rd., Meridian. Trussell is also charged with no driver’s license.

• Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Angela Williams, 45, 1618 8th Ave., Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer – Angela Denise Williams, 41, 5607 Cooper Circle, Meridian.
