Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:

• Possession of paraphernalia – Erin Elizabeth Adcock, 39, 4100 40th St., Meridian.

• Felon carrying a concealed weapon – Willandrius D. Trotter, born in 1980, 1000 38th Ave., Meridian.

• Simple assault – Tania Brown, born in 1973, 2015 Mosby Rd. apt. A-4, Meridian. Brown is also charged with willful trespassing.

• Shoplifting – Michael G. Payne, born in 1975, homeless.

• Simple assault/threat – Daniel D. Reed, born in 1980, 4916 22nd St., Meridian.

Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday to Wednesday:

• Meridian Police responded to 1 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.

• Burglary/dwelling house – Roytavius D. Brunson, 20, 4819 Manning St., Meridian.

• Possession of methamphetamine/two counts – Acrindal McCray, 40, 1537 CR, Jasper Co.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Leslie Danielle Bullard, 30, 1589 Hwy. 19N, Meridian. Bullard is also charged with suspended driver’s license.

Theft

• Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

• Hwy. 45N, Meridian.

Disturbance

• Knox Rd., Meridian.

Rape or attempted rape

• 200 block of 5th St., Meridian.

Fire Runs

The Meridian Fire Departments reported the following calls from Tuesday through Wednesday:

• Dispatched and canceled en route, 37th St.

• Outside fire, Grandview Ave.

• Vehicle accident, Hwy. 11/80.

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls from Tuesday through Wednesday:

• Emergency medical service call, Long Creek/Water Road (Long Creek).

• Brush fire, Highway 19S (Southeast).

• Accident with injuries, Mitchum Bottom Road (Clarkdale).

• Accident with injuries, Hwy. 19N (Collinsville).

• Emergency medical service call, King Road (Bailey).
