Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:
• Willful trespassing – Cody A. Spears, born in 1987, 2104 50th Ave., Meridian. Spears is also charged with shoplifting.
• Giving false information – Kerisian J. Clay, born in 1995, 2427 4th Ave. 20-D, Meridian.
• Disorderly conduct – Michael Griggs, born in 1988, homeless. Griggs is also charged with trespassing, public drunk.
• Embezzlement – Tomarcus D. Miller, born in 1996, 3602 29th St., Meridian.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Wednesday to Thursday:
Stolen vehicles
• 2200 block of Mosby Road at 7:20 a.m.
Auto burglary
• 4400 block of 21st St. at 6:36 a.m.
• 100 block of South Frontage Road at 1:50 p.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene, only one showed evidence to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.
• Simple assault/attempt to create fear – Ashley Jordan, 28, 563 Murphy Road, Meridian.
• No driver’s license – James Kenneth Measell Jr., 53, 2704 Valley Road Lot 32, Quitman.
• Possession of cocaine/two counts – Demarkieo Dezhone Pritchett, 27, 510 53rd Ave., Meridian.
• Possession of methamphetamine – Larry Keith Scott, 34, 8225 King Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault/attempt to create fear – Kenneth Young Sr., 63, 563 Murphy Road, Meridian.

• Valley Road, Meridian.
Missing person
• Hwy. 496, Meridian.
Mississippi Highway Patrol
• Driving under the influence/first offense – Jeremy Fleming, 31, 3392 Fairway Oaks Dr. G, Lawrenceville, Ga. Fleming is also charged with speeding, no liability insurance.

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls from Wednesday through Thursday:
• Vehicle fire, Interstate 20/129mm (Lost Gap).
• Assist, Skinner Drive (Clarkdale).

Metro Ambulance reported 31 emergency runs Thursday at 2 p.m.
