Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday:
• Simple assault – Denise Ezell, born in 1988, 2015 Mosby Road, Apt. F2, Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Curtonio Walker, born in 1995, 2700 Chandler St. Apt. 1008 Meridian.
• Driving under the influence/first offense – Simone Jones, born in 1979, Meridian.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:
Commercial burglary
• 4800 block of Poplar Springs Drive at 2:08 a.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday.
• Felony DUI/fourth offense – Caleb Odom Bennett, 35, 5051 Shiloh/Vimville Rd., Meridian.
• DUI/first offense – Bonnie J. Chatham, 42, 826 Bonita Drive, Meridian. Chatham is also charged with seat belt violation, no liability insurance.
• Probation violation/parole – Christopher Len Criswell, 40, 701 B St., Meridian.
• Possession of controlled substance – James Sean Harris, 44, 9011 Hwy. 493, Meridian. Harris is also charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
• Disturbing the peace – Robert Dewayne Hughey, 38, 1179 Aycock Road, Meridian. Hughey is also charged with telephone harassment.
• Sale of controlled substance – Antoinette Alice Martinez, 47, 6580 Brunson Road, Meridian.
East Mississippi Drug Task Force
• Possession of methamphetamine – Kristina Michelle Kirk, 26, 3410 North Shore Drive, Toomsuba.
• Possession of methamphetamine – Jerry Leshawn Wallace, 28, 3410 North Shore Drive B, Toomusba. Wallace is also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, sale of cocaine, probation violation/parole.
