Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Wednesday:
• Shooting into a dwelling – Deondra D. Brandon, born in 1990, 10415 Rabbit Road, Lauderdale. Brandon is also charged with aggravated assault.
• Attempted murder – Aubrey M. Jordan, born in 1991, 7455 Lizzie Road, Marion. Jordan is also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
• Malicious mischief – Demarkus L. Walker, born in 1991, 3849 35th Street, Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Alvin Thompson, born in 1976, 9493 Valley Bell Road, Lauderdale.
• Trespassing – Kristy Rogers, born in 1996, 349 30th Ave., Meridian.
• Simple assault – Mahogany Perry, born in 1995, 2427 4th Ave. D-5, Meridian.
Incident Reports
The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Wednesday:
Stolen vehicles
• 4500 block of Valley St. at 7 a.m.
• 4300 block of 8th St. at 7:40 p.m.
Auto burglary
• 3300 block of 32nd Ave. at 7:14 a.m.
• 2900 block of South Frontage Road at 7:30 p.m.
• 2800 block of 25th St. at 8:34 a.m.
Residential burglary
• 3200 block of 32nd St. at 4 a.m.
• Meridian Police responded to 3 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

The Meridian Fire Departments reported the following calls from Monday through Wednesday:

• Power line down, 20th St.
• False alarm, Natures Way.
• Vehicle accident, Hwy. 39N.
• False call, 10th St.
• Medical assist, 23rd St.

• Power line down, 22nd St.
• Unauthorized burning, 29th Ave.
• Outside fire, 5th Ave.
• Medical assist, Hwy. 19N.
• Gas leak, 45th Ave.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday.
• Felony possession of a firearm – Dellire G. Hosley, 6005 Semes Road, Meridian.
• Shooting into a dwelling – Deondra Dequayle Brandon, 10415 Rabbit Road, Lauderdale. Brandon is also charged with aggravated assault.
• Possession of drugs with a firearm – Haley Shea Nause, 2544 Hwy. 496, Meridian.
• Possession of Hydrocodone – Tina M. Joles, 9132 Joles Road, Meridian.
• Attempted aggravated assault – Kenneth Alex Young, George Reese Apts., Meridian. Young is also charged with simple assault, disturbing the peace.
• Order of contempt – Justin Roy House – 2102 7th Ave., Meridian.
• Probation violation – Samantha Sierra Naylor, 1472 Long Creek Road, Meridian.
• Probation violation – Michael Brandon Owens, 5109 Druid Lane, Meridian.
• Possession of marijuana – Nikata Michelle Jenkins, 10879 Antioch Road, Lauderdale.
• Suspended driver’s license – Zachary Jerome Sturdivant, 2530 28th Ave., Meridian. Sturdivant is also charged with no insurance, no seatbelt.
• Probation violation – Cody Earl Jimerson, 4515 State Blvd., Meridian.
• MS Comp, school attendance/two counts – Lakeda Purnell, 1719 Hwy. 19 Apt. 79, Meridian.
• Suspended driver’s license – Tiffany Henderson, 1719 Hwy. 19N, Meridian.
• Simple assault on a correctional officer – Christopher Christian, 2929 I55 South Frontage, Jackson.
• Disorderly contact FTC – Eulisa Channell Barnes, 3418 State Blvd., Meridian.
• No seatbelt – Tevin James Cole, 3780 Ruffin Warren Road, Meridian. Cole is also charged with no driver’s license, no insurance, improper passing/two counts.
• Felony DUI – Mark Reed, 515 C St., Meridian.
• Attempted murder – Aubrey M. Jordan, 1455 Lizzie Road, Meridian. Jordan is also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
• Contempt of court, civil – Danny Irby, 1626 28th Ave., Meridian.
