Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday.

• Failure to have vehicle under control – Michael Dewayne Ballard, 51, 2225 Hillcrest Dr., Meridian. Ballard is also charged with insurance card law in the vehicle, obstructing traffic, leaving the scene with injuries.

• Public drunk – Jessica Rena Crowder-Alford, 37, 14507 CR 514 8, Meridian.

• Domestic violence – Joshua Allen Jones, 34, 8008 Pine Springs Rd. Lot F, Meridian.

• Felony DUI – Tarvarius S. Jones, 37, 1017 16th St., Meridian.

• DUI/second offense – Shawn Parkman Slay, 38, 3257 CR 440, Quitman. Slay is also charged with no license tag.

• Aggravated assault or other means to prod. death – John Kenneth Stewart, 30, homeless. Stewart is also charged with felony malicious mischief/vandalism.
