Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:
• Contempt of court – Robert W. Johnson, 51, homeless.
• Public drunk – Emil Courtgnanie, born in 1984, homeless. Courtgnanie is also charged with possession of marijuana.
• Disorderly conduct – St. Carlos Boyd, born in 1976, 4617 13th St. Boyd is also charged with resisting arrest, public intoxication.
• Domestic violence – Eddie Stewart, born in 1989, 3615 36th St.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.
• Driving with suspended license – Cliff Stanley Battles, 32, 4817 Valley Road Lot 4, Meridian. Battles is also charged with a non license tag.
• Driving under the influence/first offense – Alana Bess Damboise, 6134 State Rd. 66, Zolfo Springs, Fla. Damboise is also charged with careless driving, possession of marijuana, vehicle.
• Domestic violence – Melissa Amanda Dew, 37, 1398 Will Wright Road, Meridian. Dew is also charged with resisting arrest.
• Grand larceny – Richard Arron Joles, 32, 9165 Joles Road, Lauderdale. Joles is also charged with burglary/dwelling house/two counts, motor vehicle theft/two counts.
• Felony DUI – Carlos James Jones, 29, 1720 Old Marion Road, Meridian.
• Petit larceny – William Ray Parker, 45, 1628 A Hwy. 19 South, Meridian. Parker is also charged with false ID information.
• Contempt child support/three counts – Morris Andre Terrell, 36, 8165 A Lauderdale/Toomsuba Road, Toomsuba. Terrell is also charged with contempt of court/10 counts.
