Mr. and Mrs. Michael Woods Busby of Pelham, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Michelle, to Robert Joseph Glazar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frank Glazar of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 6 p.m., at All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood, Ala.

    Miss Busby is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Eloise Deavours and the late Mr. Milford Deavours of Alabaster, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Giles Terrell Busby of Jasper, Ala.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Alabama. She is a graduate of Pelham High School.

    While attending the University of Alabama, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

    Miss Busby is employed by PNC Bank in Birmingham, Ala.

    Mr. Glazar is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Douglas Glass of Greenwood, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Barney Edward Glazar of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of arts degree in history from Huntington College, and a master of science degree in American history from the University of Southern Mississippi.

    While attending Huntington College, he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

    Mr. Glazar is employed by The Alabama Historical Commission in Montgomery, Ala.

    A reception will be held at The Club in Birmingham.
