McKee elected treasurer of Mississippi Bankers Association
Greg McKee, president and chief executive officer of The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia, has been elected Treasurer of the Mississippi Bankers Association.
As treasurer, McKee serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the 128-year-old association.
MBA’s membership includes commercial banks and savings institutions operating in Mississippi, and the association’s members hold over 95 percent of the bank deposits in the state.
McKee joined The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia 35 years ago and now serves as the president and CEO. He is a graduate of Meridian Community College, Mississippi State University, where he was named Orrin Swayze Scholar, and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
McKee previously served a three-year term on the MBA Board of Directors, and he has served on the MBA Legislative Committee, Insurance Committee, Nominating Committee. He also served on the Board of Trustees of the MBA group medical insurance program. In addition, he currently serves as the Mississippi representative on the American Bankers Association’s Community Bank Council.
McKee also serves on the Mississippi State University Department of Finance Advisory Board and the First National Bankers Bank Board of Directors. He is a past president of the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce in Philadelphia. McKee is an active member of First Pentecostal Church.
McKee resides in Philadelphia with his wife, the former Linda Luke. They have two daughters, Lauren McKee and Meredith Humphries and her husband, Evan.
McKee is the son of Carolyn McKee and the late Tommy McKee of Philadelphia.
