Law enforcement reports: Aug. 28-29

Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

• Shoplifting – Tina Malbrough, born in 1972, 7691 Pine Springs Road.

• Willful trespassing – Latoria Hailes, born in 1990, 2006 MLK, Jr. Drive.

• Disorderly conduct – Amanda Day, born in 1989, 801 B St. Day is also charged with public profanity.

• Driving under the influence – Raysheuna Nelson, born in 1998, 5706 New Hope Rd. Nelson is also charged with no insurance.

Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Monday to Tuesday.

Robbery

• 1600 block of 18th Ave. at 2:28 a.m.

Commercial burglary

• 17 block of 17th Ave. at 7:13 a.m.

• 1000 block of North Frontage Road at 3:19 a.m.

Auto burglary

• 3800 block of 36th St. at 5:45 a.m.

Residential burglary

• 1400 block of 24th Ave. at 9:21 p.m.

Meridian Police responded to 1 shots fired call but when Officers arrived on scene, there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.

• Possession of cocaine – Koty Montell Brown, 34, 3403 56th Place, Meridian.

• Child support/failure to pay – Ronald Wayne McGowin, 56, 110 Todd Rd, Meridian.

• Vehicle accident, 8th St.

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls from Monday:

• Assist, Jeffery Acres Road (Long Creek).

• Emergency medical service, Highway 19 North (Suqualena).

• Emergency medical service, 9211 Dale Drive (Marion).

Metro Ambulance reported 51 emergency runs Tuesday at 2 p.m.
