Pompelia completes Mississippi REALTORS® Institute course

Mississippi REALTORS® has announced that one of its members, Sharon Pompelia, recently completed the final course of the Mississippi REALTORS® Institute.

Pompelia has been associated with Winstead Realty, Inc. since 2001 and is actively involved inThe local East Mississippi Board of Realtors, has served on the local board, has been involved with Realtor’s Community Service, is actively involved with the EMBR Realtors’ homes tour, is actively involved with the children’s ministry at NorthPark Church, is an advocate of organ donation, is a member of MBR, MARPAC, RPAC, as well as held to a standard of real estate laws, regulations and continuing education.

By successfully completing all REALTOR® Institute courses, a student is awarded the national recognized Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.

With 60 hours of real estate instruction including such topics as Working with Buyers, Working with Sellers, Professionalism, Accountability, Professional Development, Real Estate Contracts, and Real Estate Technology, the designation is awarded exclusively to REALTORS®. Less than 15% of all members of the REALTOR® organization attain this designation.

The Mississippi GRI program is offered throughout the state by Mississippi REALTORS®, and is approved and certified by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, the nation’s largest trade association, with a membership of some 800,000.
