The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

March 22

March 24

  • Shooting — 2100 block of 14th St. at 8:23 a.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

  • Possession of fentanyl x2
  • Controlled substance: acquisition by fraud x2
  • Indecent exposure and probation violation

March 23

  • DUI first offense, failure to dim headlights and failure to maintain liability insurance
  • Contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service, no/expired driver’s license, vehicle liability insurance failure second offense and violation of seat belt law

March 24

  • DUI first offense, driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license and failure to maintain liability insurance
  • Court hold/mandatory days
  • Felony fleeing/pursuit
  • Simple domestic violence first offense
  • Contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service
