Traffic pattern changing on Highway 493 north of Meridian
The Mississippi Department of Transportation will switch traffic to a new alignment along state Highway 493 around five miles north of Meridian effective Friday, March 1.
Advanced warning signs will be in place, according to MDOT, and motorists should be on high alert for roadside workers.
