Law Enforcement Reports for Sept. 19

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Sept 16

  • Simple assault — 2704 Valley Rd., Meridian
  • Shoplifting and trespassing — 3000 10th Ave., Meridian

Sept 17

  • Shoplifting — 2647 St. Luke St., Meridian
  • Domestic violence — 6929 Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Toomsuba
  • Simple assault threat and carrying a concealed weapon — 4315 35th Ave., Meridian
  • Trespass less than larceny — 502 C St., Meridian

  • Stolen vehicle — 100 block of Highway 11/80 at 6:49 a.m.

Sept 17

  • Auto burglary — 900 block of 1st Avenue East at 8:40 a.m.
  • Auto burglary — 1700 block of 2nd Street South at 10:03 a.m.
  • Auto burglary — 1600 block of South Frontage Road at 1:16 p.m.
  • Residential burglary — 3400 block of 35th Avenue at 2:56 p.m.
  • Residential burglary — 3700 block of 40th Avenue at 4:38 p.m.

Sept 18

  • Stolen vehicle — 5600 block of Broadmoor Drive at 5:54 a.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Sept 16

  • Possession of a controlled substance x2, possession of a stolen firearm and failure to pay
  • Aggravated domestic violence
  • Murder
  • Embezzlement
  • Utilities theft
  • Carrying a concealed weapon, possession of stolen firearm and failure to pay
  • Controlled substance violations
  • Murder and shoot into dwelling

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday through Wednesday.

Sept 16

  • Burglary; all but dwelling — Arundel Rd.
  • Missing person — Richardson Rd.
  • Credit card fraud — Blizzard Rd.

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls Tuesday through Wednesday.

Metro Ambulance reported 48 emergency runs Wednesday at 2 p.m.
