LIVE BLOG: Follow coverage of tonight’s All-Star Game

Although home field advantage in the World Series is no longer at stake for the winning league, the 88th MLB All-Star Game promises to provide a fitting showcase for a new generation of the game’s biggest stars.

First pitch is set for approximately 8:30 p.m. ET from Marlins Park in Miami. CNHI Sports Boston’s baseball writer, Chris Mason, is on hand to write about baseball’s annual showcase.

Follow Mason’s tweets here — along with commentary from CNHI Sports Boston editors Bill Burt and Phil Stacey.
