Three times the charm: country trio Lady Antebellum is expecting a trio of babies

There will be a caravan of rolling nurseries for Lady Antebellum with the expected arrival of not one, but three babies for the award-winning trio. Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli, are expecting one child and Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, recently revealed that they are expecting twins.

The announcement was especially meaningful for fans following Scott’s heartbreaking miscarriage last year. Scott channeled the pain of that experience into a Grammy Award-winning inspirational song, “Thy Will,” for her faith-based album, “Love Remains.” The album was recorded with her family, and also won a Grammy Award.

Now with much happier news to share, Rare Country has sweet home video of Scott and Tyrrell telling their adorable daughter, Eisele, the news. Tyrrell tours with Lady Antebellum as the band’s drummer.

In an emotional social media post, Scott shared their joy at answered prayers and offered hope to other couples that have experienced a miscarriage or infertility. “Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally,” she wrote. “[Neither] Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is.

“My heart still grieves for our loss and all who are struggling with pregnancy and infant loss and infertility,” she continued. “God hears every prayer, and I will continue to share our story to point to the source of all life, peace and comfort in the best and most difficult of times. Don’t lose hope!”

Dubbed “Baby Bellum,” the new arrivals are the second wave of babies for Lady Antebellum, who already have three toddlers among them. Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie McConnell have a year-old son, Ward. The Haywood’s son, Cash, turns three in September, and Eisele just turned four. Rare Country has the post of the announcement here.

The Haywoods are expecting their baby girl in December and Scott and Tyrrell will welcome their twins in February. Clearly excited to be a big sister, Eisele has plans of her own. The adorable video ends with the curly-headed pre-schooler asking, “When am I gonna have a baby in my belly?”
