Chambers, Geoghagan

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Chambers of Meridian are pleased to announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristina Annette, to Drew Hansel Geoghagan, son of Tim and Beth Geoghagan of Paxton, Fla.

The couple will exchange vows in an early afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Chambers of Meridian and Ms. Annette Stone of Philadelphia and the late Robert Lee Stone.

Miss Chambers is a 2009 highest honors graduate of Meridian High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi College in 2013, where she received her bachelor’s degree in history.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Hansel Geoghagan of Paxton, Fla., and Ms. Jane Hamilton of Paxton, Fla., and the late Fred Hamilton.

Mr. Geoghagan is a 2007 highest honors graduate of Paxton High School (Florida). He is a 2010 graduate of University of West Florida, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a special education concentration.

The two met while in graduate school in Wake Forest, N.C., and will reside there upon return from their honeymoon.
