Neshoba County authorities searching for escapee
Neshoba County authorities continue to search for a Philadelphia man who jumped from a second-story courthouse bathroom Friday after being indicted for murder.
Edward Bragg Jr., 26, was out on bond when he appeared at the Neshoba County Courthouse to learn of his indictment in the death of Jamie Yarbrough, 34, who was found dead in the Dixon area in October 2016.
Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said Saturday authorities continue to search for Bragg.
“We are following a lead we received,” Waddell said.
The sheriff said anyone with information should contact the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department, call his cell phone number 601-416-4572, or East Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 855-485-8477.
Bragg could face additional charges for evading law enforcement. Waddell said anyone who assists with Bragg’s escape could also face criminal charges.
