Rescan required for local television channels

People who rely on an antenna to watch television will need to rescan their TV to continue to receive local programming and emergency alerts.

The rescans are free, requiring just a few steps with the remote control.

Viewers can select scan or autotune from their TV or converter box control menu to start the scanning process. The TV will do the rest in only a few minutes.

More information is available at TVAnswers.org.
