Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:

• Simple assault – Briunda J. Walton, born in 1988, 2747 39th St., Meridian. Walton is also charged disturbance of business, fighting in a public place.

• Willful trespassing – Damion Collins, born in 1984, 618 52nd Ave., Meridian.

• Driving under the influence/other – Reico Barnett, born in 1992, 2015 Mosby Road, Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – Denise Ezell, born in 1983, 5121 5th St., Meridian.

• DUI/first/other – Douglas L. Lee Jr. – born in 1988, 259 N. Maple St., Adamsville, Tenn.

• Shoplifting – William Morgan, born in 1996, 1010 N. Frontage Road, Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana more than 30 grams – Johan Geovoni Castello, 19, 1608 53rd St., Meridian.

• Fugitive from justice – Dionne Keshee Sanders, 34, 3433 Windy Knoll Drive, Lexington, Ky.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Wednesday to Thursday:

Stolen vehicles

• 2400 block of 14th St. at 8:26 a.m.

Shootings

• 2400 block of 18th Ave. at 12:46 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 5 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.

• Driving with a suspended license – Rasheen Dupayne Collier, 45, 1801 24th St., Meridian. Collier is also charged with no liability insurance, improper equipment.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Donald Lee Flowers, 44, 13180 Brushy Creek Road, Lucedale.

• Suspended driver’s license – Dakota Lowell Fraiser, 21, 2307 Hwy. 45N, Meridian. Fraiser is also charged with failure to dim headlights, expired license tag, no liability insurance.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Douglas Leon Lee, 30, 259 N Maple St., Adamsville, Tenn.

• DUI/first offense – Christopher Lee Nobles, 28, 9892 Hwy. 495, Meridian.

The Meridian Fire Departments reported the following calls from Wednesday through Thursday:

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls from Wednesday through Thursday:

• Accident with injuries, Valley Road (South).

• Emergency medical service call, Dillard Road (Long Creek).

• Emergency medical service call, Smith-Yeager Road (Clarkdale).
