Law enforcement reports: Feb. 7-8

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday.

• Driving with suspended license – Bridget Evans, 29, 1070 Hudson Road, Carthage. Evans is also charged with insurance card law in the vehicle, improper equipment, contempt/child support.

• Felon in possession of a firearm – Jacoby Cortez Hersey, 28, 3805 Tisdale Lane, Moss Point.

• Grand larceny – William Dashun Love, 34, homeless.

• Rape-statutory – Larry Wayne McKenzie, 61, 582 CR 415, Quitman. McKenzie is also charged with probation violation/parole.

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Kenneth Pittman, 55, 6446 CR 320, Enterprise. Pittman is also charged with seat belt violation, driving on the wrong side of the road.

• DUI/second offense – Ozie Lee Townsend Jr., 60, 2113 22nd Ave., Meridian. Townsend Jr. is also charged with disregard of traffic device, insurance card law in the vehicle, suspended driver’s license.

• Suspended driver’s license – Jason Paul Vincent, 38, 713 Magnolia, Nashville, AR. Vincent is also charged with insurance card law in vehicle, seat belt violation.

The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following calls from Thursday through Friday:

• Accident with injuries, Interstate 20 (Toomsuba).

• Vehicle fire, Hwy. 19S (Southeast).

• Brush fire, T M Jones Road (Clarkdale).

• Emergency medical service call, Old Hwy. 80 (Meehan).

• Emergency medical service call, Ball Diamond Road (Martin).
