Business leaders and elected officials welcomed a new business to town Wednesday with a ribbon cutting at Pure Home 365.

Located at 3119 Highway 45 N. Suite A, across from Mississippi Power, Pure Home 365 offers an array of products for water filtration, air purification, grounding, laundry cleaning and waterless cookware products.

Matt Schanrock, director of Meridian Main Street, said he is confident the new business will thrive in Meridian.

“(There’s) no doubt in my mind you guys are going to be successful here,” he said. “And thank you for choosing us.”

Owen Tuminello, owner of Pure 365, said the business will be celebrating its grand opening week with special offers on some of its products. Residents are invited to stop by the store to learn more about what Pure 365 is all about and see if any of its products may be a good fit for them, he said.

“You know, our family, loved ones, friends and community, all we’re here to do is help in anyway we can,” he said. “So if you’ve got any questions or anything, if I can’t answer it, some of my staff will.”

Although Pure Home 365 is just shy of the Marion town limits, Marion Mayor Larry Gill said he is glad to see new business coming to Lauderdale County. If there is a way Marion can help, he said, just ask.

“I’m glad that you chose Lauderdale County, and anything that happens right, especially this close, affects Marion,” he said. “I know this business is going to be successful, and if there is anything we can do for you, we’re right down the road and we’ll try to help the best way we can.”
